At Restoration United Methodist Church, we believe children are a vital part of our church family! We offer a variety of fun, faith-filled opportunities for kids to grow in their love for Jesus and build lasting friendships. From Vacation Bible School in the summer to Trunk or Treat in the fall and  Spring Fling in the spring, there’s always something exciting happening for children and families. We also participate in Blue Lake summer camp and offer Confirmation classes to help older children take the next step in their spiritual journey.

As a family-friendly church, we welcome all children to be present during our worship services. We have "pew packs" to entertain them or they are welcome to play. The noise of children in worship is music to our ears!  Though, we do not provide childcare duing the worship service, we do have a nursery upstairs near the sanctuary. However, we do provide childcare on Monday nights for those attending Celebrate Recovery.

 

Taking Jesus' command to let the children come while protecting them, we abide by a Safe Sanctuary Policy and require background checks for those volunteering with children. Whether it’s Sunday morning, a seasonal event, or a special milestone like Confirmation, our goal is to support families and help every child know they are loved by God.
