At Restoration United Methodist Church, we love finding ways to gather, celebrate, and grow together as a family of faith! Throughout the year, we host and participate in special events that bring our church and community together in fun and meaningful ways.

🎃 Trunk or Treat – Each October, we join our neighbors for the Cottondale Trunk or Treat at the Cottondale High School parking lot. Families enjoy creative car trunks, costumes, candy, and community! It’s a safe, joy-filled way to connect and share God’s love in the heart of Cottondale.

🎈 Community Parades – You’ll often find Restoration UMC on parade! We proudly participate in both the Cottondale Homecoming Parade and the Cottondale Christmas Parade, celebrating school spirit, community pride, and the joy of the season. Look for our float and wave hello—we love seeing familiar faces along the route!

🎲 Game Nights – Laughter, snacks, and friendly competition make for great fellowship! Join us for our church-wide Game Nights filled with board games, dominoes, and plenty of fun for all ages.

🍽️ Second Sunday Church Potluck – On the second Sunday of every month, we gather after worship for a shared meal and time of fellowship. Bring a favorite dish and pull up a chair—there’s always plenty of food and friendship to go around!

🌟 Christmas Eve Service – Celebrate the wonder of Christ’s birth with us during our candlelight Christmas Eve Service. Together we sing beloved carols, hear the story of the Nativity, and welcome the Light of the World into our hearts and homes.

🕊️ One Night VBS – Our One Night Vacation Bible School brings children and families together for an evening of music, crafts, stories, and fun centered around God’s love. It’s a night of joy and faith-building that leaves lasting memories!
